Leader Training Program

The Simplicity Parenting© Group Leader training was started in the Winter of 2010 in an effort to help families strengthen and re-orient individual family values that can often become crowded out in the pace of contemporary life.

The training is designed to provide training participants the opportunity to lead a 7 Session Group Course to parents through their professional work or in their own community.  Parents are  supported through the course to implement small changes in the 4 realms: environment, rhythm, scheduling, and filtering. Normally trainings are a Friday evening, all day Saturday and Sunday for our on-site or weekly conference calls spread out over 2-3 months for our distance learning training program, throughout the year.

The content of Leader Training includes:

• In depth training in working with groups and the four layers of simplicity.
• Role-playing and leading your fellow participants through sections of the 7 session group course.
• An opportunity to model your trainer in how to transition your group through the course material.
• Experiencing small simplicity changes in your own life.
• Time to share and connect with others who have a passion for this work.
• Skill building in guiding families toward more simplicity.

Leaders receive a copy of The Simplicity Parenting© Leader’s Manual and Parent Handbook and a certificate of attendance. They are encouraged to form a Simplicity Parenting 7 Session Group Course in their community. They also receive access to the Leader Network website in order to share ideas and questions with our global community of leaders which includes monthly marketing and mentoring calls. Our primary trainer for all of our trainings is Licensed Therapist, Davina Muse.

Registration

Professionals complete an on-line registration form.  Participants are encouraged to register early since there can be a limited number of openings in each training and there may be materials to complete prior to the training start date.

Tuition/Payments

Tuition for the training offered by The Center For Social Sustainability is $980 regardless of the format (Early Bird Tuition is $880; check the training schedule for Early Bird dates). Tuition is payable to The Center for Social Sustainability. Please refer to the registration form for more information regarding payment.
