When his older son was two, Bhagavan realized how his own upbringing was affecting the way he was parenting. He began focusing on family interactions and his work brought about a wonderful transformation in the relationships with his own mother and his nuclear family. This shift resulted in a deeper connection than any of them had ever known and a gratifying ability to deeply connect with others all around.

When he came in contact with Simplicity Parenting it seemed to be a very clear and natural progression of the path he was already on. Bhagavan supports parents in creating inspiring values by connecting with their innate joy, rather than reacting from fear brought on by past conditioning and media influences. He offers workshops such as Simplicity Parenting, his signature programs based on developing conscious awareness and his upcoming teleseminar series, co-led by his wife, where they lead families towards moving from “frustration to fulfillment”.
Bhagavan and his wife have two school aged boys and are Waldorf-inspired home-schoolers. Currently living in Gainesville, FL Bhagavan will be starting a 7 week Simplicity Parenting Group in early March.
He is excited that the simplification process has assisted him in fulfilling a longtime dream of traveling full-time with his family. They will be embarking on their journey in May 2012. And as part of their journey they will be traveling around the U.S. and internationally presenting Simplicity and Conscious parenting workshops.
