Nickie trained in Marketing and Public Relations and is working for a small Electric Transport shop. He lives with his wife and 2 small children in Much Dewchurch, Herefordshire. Inspired by the impact Simplicity Parenting has made on his family Nickie feels a deep desire to support as many families as possible.

Dorothy’s background is in Waldorf Early Years Education, training as a kindergarten teacher and helping to set up the Lancaster Steiner Education Initiative with other parents. She has trained at the Pikler Institute in Hungary, at Sophia’s Hearth in Keene, New Hampshire, and has taken RIE 1 in Florida, along with a degree in counseling.
She has worked with parents and very young children in a variety of ways for 20 years. Dorothy facilitated education workshops for parents, as well as for workshops for parent and child group leaders and child minders in both York and London. Additionally she led support groups for parents and their toddlers and babies.
More recently Dorothy has become involved in pioneering a young mothers and fathers project. She has authored a book called The Parent and Child Group Handbook – a Steiner/Waldorf Approach (Hawthorn Press).
Dorothy believes the Simplicity Parenting Groups© are a wonderfully practical and supportive way to help parents wishing to create change in family life. Participating in the Simplicity Parenting© Group Leader Training has improved her own life and deepened her work. She loves to offer the group to families in the UK.
