About: Jean has been a teacher for over 30 years, teaching in public and private school classrooms before choosing to homeschool her three children. During those homeschooling years, she discovered Simplicity Parenting and felt a sense of affirmation and belonging. Jean leads Simplicity Parenting gatherings for homeschoolers and parents both online and in person in Northeastern Ohio. She loves working with families to help them discover their values, find their strengths, and craft lasting routines that bring peace to their homes. Her specialty is helping homeschoolers build a homeschool life they love that’s simple, inspiring, and doable. Jean’s love of poetry, music, and nature have been with her since childhood.
