Nora Hidalgo is the Training Coordinator at the Simplicity Parenting Institute and works closely with Kim John Payne to support families seeking clarity, balance, and calm in their home life. Nora’s areas of specialty include: Simplicity Parenting principles, Waldorf education, child development, family rhythms, and holistic health.
About Nora Hidalgo
Nora originally graduated with a degree in Industrial Biochemical Engineering in Mexico (UAM), where she studied life at the molecular level. With the birth of her two children, her perspective widened to include life at a much broader scale. Recognizing the profound responsibility of raising her children well, she devoted herself to learning everything she could about human development and education.
Despite years of academic study, Nora came to realize that she had not been prepared for the most important role of her life: motherhood.
Determined to give her children the best possible upbringing, she discovered Waldorf pedagogy and trained as a teacher at Rudolf Steiner College in California. She went on to work as a kindergarten teacher and later as a Coordinator at the Waldorf School of Cuernavaca, before teaching Spanish at Summerfield Waldorf School and Farm in California.
